Gold Rush at Weetwood Hall
Weetwood Hall awarded prestigious Investor in People Gold status
Weetwood Hall has become the first hotel in the Yorkshire & Humber to achieve the Investors in People (IIP) Gold status, the most recognised accolade in the UK for business improvement through people. By achieving Gold status Weetwood Hall is now part of the top 1% of UK organisations recognised by IIP.
To achieve IIP gold a rigorous assessment by Investors in People was undertaken reviewing a minimum of 126 evidence requirements over and above the standard level. Weetwood Hall achieved great results and has been advised by Chris Jones, Head of IIP Yorkshire & Humber “During the review, your organisation achieved a total of 166 evidence requirements. Congratulations on this exceptional achievement.”
Gold IIP follows in the footsteps of 2008 AIM Gold accreditation when Weetwood Hall was the first venue in the north and only the fourth at the time, in the country, to achieve this gold accreditation standard from the Meetings Industry Association for its services and facilities relating to the conference centre.
Since then Weetwood Hall has either won or been a finalist in numerous awards such as the White Rose Awards, HRS Marketing Awards, Springboard Awards and the Leeds City in Bloom Awards.
Said Peter Chubb, General Manager of Weetwood Hall, “This is a wonderful achievement that we have strived for over the last six years; we are extremely proud to accept this recognition but fully recognise that it is now our responsibility to ensure we maintain the standard for the future, both for our loyal customers and the team.”
